After 90 years of cityhood, the City of Good Neighbors will have a museum in which to display its colorful past.  The site will soon display photos and memorabilia from such former Hawthorne residents like Marilyn Monroe, the Beach Boys, Jack Northrop, Jim Thorpe, and Sonny Bono. In addition, Mattel, Northrop Aircraft, the Cock-a-too Inn and SpaceX all will be highlighted for their roles in Hawthorne's past and present.
