The Department of Housing is responsible for administering the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Moderate Rehabilitation Programs. Section 8 Rental assistance includes direct rental payments for 686 tenants under the Housing Choice Voucher Program, 2 tenants under the Moderate rehabilitation Program, and approximately 700 tenants who have ported-in from surrounding municipalities.
