Business Recycling Information

With the passage of California State Assembly Bill 341, recycling will be mandatory for all businesses and multi-family properties starting in 2012. With only a few exceptions, any business that subscribes to trash service of more than four cubic yards per week or multi-family property of five units or more, will be required to implement a recycling program. Fortunately, recycling service is free for all customers in Hawthorne.

To ensure a smooth implementation, we encourage all affected customers to contact Allied Waste to set up recycling service as soon as possible. Allied can visit your site to determine what level of service will be best for your site. You may contact Allied Waste at 888-742-5234 or the City of Hawthorne Public Works

Recycling for commercial and multi-family properties is FREE. Contact Allied waste at 1-888-742-5234 for more information.
