The City's Engineering division regulates all newsracks placed in the public right-of-way. In November of 2006, the City Council approved an Ordinance and Resolution requiring Uniform Newsracks along all the City's major streets. An annual permit fee is also required of all newsracks. Please review the Resolution below. Also attached is the Permit Application. Applications may be submitted to the Public Works Engineering counter.
